Professional Experience

  • Supported c-suite executives and the corporate development team with the Televisa merger: (i) finalizing FCC and IFT approval; (ii) designing data & privacy program; (iii) creating new compliance policy framework that met regulatory requirements in both Mexico and U.S.; and (iv) developing content strategy for the streaming service “ViX.”

  • As project management lead for one of the world’s largest media & entertainment conglomerates, redefined its M&A pipeline and implemented solutions to issues with valuation, compliance, and integration.

  • Advised the CEO and award-winning production Company on: (i) favorable distribution agreements for partners in Latin America, Europe, and U.S.; (ii) intellectual property protection for both full feature films and television productions; and (iii) monetization agreements for digital media in emerging territories and new platforms.

  • Served as General Counsel and lead negotiator for international media holding company on a sequence of large-scale acquisitions to expand: (i) spectrum allocation; (ii) intellectual property; and (iii) digital distribution platform.

  • Advised the CEO, structured complex agreements, and managed specialist attorneys for the largest flower distributor in Colombia on its expansion into the U.S. market, building creative solutions for: (i) acquiring air and ground fleet; (ii) ensuring customs and storage compliance; and (iii) implementing operations pipeline in multiple jurisdictions.

Authored human rights white paper for the Undersecretaries of the U.S. Department of State and served as advisor to the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations for authorized sanctions to deter human rights violations.
