Bio

Moises Saltiel is a business attorney specializing in corporate law and commercial litigation. With real-world experience in international finance and marketing–which allowed him to oversee business operations and lead sales and marketing departments–he has insight into his clients’ businesses that other attorneys do not have.

Mr. Saltiel completed his Juris Doctor degree from the Florida International University College of Law (FIU), where he participated in various legal clinics and internships, most notably the FIU Business Law Clinic and an internship with the City Attorney’s Office at the City of Coral Gables.

Since being admitted to the Florida Bar, Mr. Saltiel has practiced as a business lawyer, concentrating on corporate law and commercial litigation. He has successfully assisted clients in complex contract negotiations and drafting, business formation, franchise agreements, licensing agreements, and acquisitions. He has also helped clients with employee contracts, general employment advice, independent contractor agreements, and non-compete agreements. Other areas of focus for Mr. Saltiel include investor documents, legal compliance, SEC disclosures, loan documents, and general business consulting.

As a litigator, Mr. Saltiel has represented many individuals and companies in state and federal courts. He has dealt with complex litigation matters, such as partnership disputes, breaches of contract (especially those related to the purchase and sale of goods), franchise disputes, and commercial debts and collection. He has also handled employment-related matters, restrictive covenants and anti-competition lawsuits, and fraud, including other business torts such as tortious interference with a business or contractual relationship. He is fluent in both Spanish and English, conducting legal negotiations and processes in both languages.

Moreover, Mr. Saltiel also has appellate practice experience, with several successful appeals before the Florida Third District Court of Appeal.

He takes great pride in his community involvement by participating in several associations and networking organizations, such as the Hispanic National Bar Association, Dade County Bar Association, Puerto Rican Bar Association, and Cuban American Bar Association. He is also a part of Florida Business Leaders and Business Network International (BNI). Mr. Saltiel helped form an initiative created through Puerto Rico Rises and Activados Por Puerto Rico to provide aid to Puerto Rico and its residents after Hurricane Maria. He sits on the board of several non-profit organizations.
