Revolutionizing Real Estate Investment: Tokenization as the Future

October 14, 2025

Hefesto Asesores, through its Hefesto Global initiative led by Federico Vázquez and Moisés Saltiel, advised Omen Capital on the creation of the "Inmaterial" fund, whose objective is to develop a solid real estate portfolio through tokenization. On January 13, 2025, in Mexico City, Hefesto Asesores, a law firm with a presence in Mexico and the United States through its Hefesto Global initiative, acted as legal advisor in the structuring and administration of the fund, which seeks to become a leading investment vehicle in tokenized assets managed by Mexicans.

Omen Capital, a firm specializing in the management and construction of real estate portfolios in several jurisdictions, has designed the "Inmaterial" fund to allow investors to benefit from tokenized real estate assets in both Mexico and the United States.

The "Inmaterial" fund is structured to leverage the boutique real estate firm’s extensive experience in the financial, real estate, and technology sectors, with the aim of generating returns for investors through the use of various legal, financial, and artificial intelligence tools.

Federico Vázquez, Managing Partner of Hefesto Asesores, commented:

"Inmaterial was structured as a legal vehicle that facilitates participation in tokenized real estate projects in a flexible and agile manner, while ensuring legal certainty for the fund's investors, which excites us enormously."

For his part, Moisés Saltiel, Managing Partner of SLG, added:

"Tokenization continues to offer greater accessibility to an investor base that previously did not have access, especially in the real estate market, which has traditionally had a high barrier to entry. We are proud to be part of this market expansion together with Omen."

Real estate investment has long been one of the most reliable methods for preserving value, with a market valued at over $654.4 billion. The tokenization of real estate represents an innovative approach that allows for the digital representation of these investments, bringing the efficiency and security of blockchain technology to traditional investment processes and simplifying their management.
