Moisés Saltiel is a highly experienced business attorney with over 10 years of expertise in corporate law, mergers & acquisition, and private equity. He specializes in advising foreign clients investing into the U.S. market and engaging in cross-border transactions, helping them navigate the complexities of corporate formation and structuring, compliance, and securities laws. Moisés holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in International Finance & Marketing from the University of Miami Herbert Business School and a Juris Doctor Degree from the Florida International University College of Law (FIU). During his academic career, he gained hands-on experience at the FIU Business Law Clinic and interned with the City Attorney’s Office at Coral Gables, laying a strong foundation for his future practice in corporate and commercial law.
Since being admitted to the Florida Bar, Moisés has concentrated on corporate law and commercial litigation, successfully representing numerous domestic and international clients in hundreds of transactions across the United States and cross-border matters. His comprehensive legal services include contract negotiations, business formation, franchise agreements, licensing agreements, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance. His expertise extends to employee contracts, independent contractor agreements, non-compete clauses, SEC disclosures, loan documents, and investor agreements. He also advises on capital raising strategies and complex corporate structuring for startups, venture capital, and private equity funds.
Moisés’s work in the private equity and venture capital sectors is notable. He has advised clients such as Forandra Capital on structuring the “Activist Fund 1” to enable Mexican investors to participate in global activism with impressive returns, and Reental on the tokenization of fractional ownership in U.S. real estate and company global structuring. He also played a pivotal role in advising VDA Miami on structuring private equity funds for real estate projects, as well as Valinvest Capital on creating a venture capital fund to co-invest in the Peruvian economy.
As a litigator, Moisés has successfully represented clients in state and federal courts, managing complex cases in areas such as contract disputes, franchise conflicts, commercial debts, employment law, fraud, and business torts. He has also handled successful appeals before the Florida Third District Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
In 2018, Moisés founded Saltiel Law Group in Miami, a firm dedicated to representing local and international investors and entrepreneurs. Under his leadership, the firm provides services in mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, securities and capital raising, and commercial litigation.
